Western Sketches

I have always been fascinated by Western landscapes and culture. From the topography of the western mountains to the vistas of the open plains and how people embrace all that nature has to offer.

Western history, stories, and music acknowledge the challenges that life brings and aren’t afraid to address the uglier aspects of humanity. I have found inspiration in the music of Colter Wall and author, Larry McMurtry who wrote one of my favorite novels Lonesome Dove.
