Water Wheel Brooch

This brooch is inspired by water trickling over a water wheel. By individually turning the crank handle the paddles on the wheel will spin. The paddle wheel hits the silver chain to replicate the sound of falling water. I left the sides of the brooch open so the viewer could watch the paddles dip below the front plate. This idea stemmed from the thought of the paddles dipping below the surface of the water. Finished March 2024.
