Locket No. 8

Locket No. 8 is a kinetic pendant built from clear 3D-printed resin and sterling silver. The sliced case houses a revolver-style mechanism with eight gemstone-set pins. As the silver crank is turned, each pin rises and falls in a continuous loop. Seven feature andalusite; the eighth, a black diamond—disrupting the pattern and shifting the narrative. Magnetically hinged lids seal each end, and the piece hangs from a silver chain. Both transparent and mechanical, the locket invites engagement and reflection on rhythm, control, and interruption. Finished April 2025.
