Canoe Inspired Silver Teapot

Canoe Inspired Silver Teapot

This Teapot was made to commemorate My Grandfather Pete. Both Pete And I love canoeing, design, and nature. I took the bow element of the canoe and made it into the body of my teapot. The handle and base are made from walnut. I feel that the dark walnut color works well to contrast the silver. I channel set a green tourmaline on the lid. The tourmaline matches the green paint of a cedar strip canoe Pete gave me on my 17th birthday. Finished April 2024.
